A precise objective: to reduce our carbon footprint by 14% by 2027
In 2023, the average carbon footprint of an Apo’g employee was 9.1 tons of CO2. The goal is to reduce it to under 8 tons of CO2 by 2027. Apo’g is supported by the consulting firm Solexter and BPI. Their implementation process is divided into four phases:
Develop and share a common strategic vision on the subject.
Mobilising teams around the issue of GHG emissions
Identify and prioritise actions to reduce your GHG emissions.
Identify priority actions to enable their operational implementation to be launched in the short term
To achieve this, Apo'g is implementing a number of initiatives:
Reducing the carbon footprint of our business
Reimbursement of ecological transport costs
Promoting the use of public transport
Promoting the use of bicycles
Strengthening our teleworking policy
Implementing eco-responsible logistics
Sorting and recycling our office waste
Reducing our paper consumption
Organising a waste reduction challenge
Setting up eco-responsible IT guides
Analyse the current situation (printers, videoconferencing, fixed and portable computers) and telephony
Create a standard infographic format for each target (manager, CIO and user)
Create relevant content for a family using benchmark data
Question our customers about the lifecycle of IT equipment
Analyse the answers
Repeat the process for each product family
Create a collection service for end-of-life IT equipment
